The 2,000m2 single roof of the Shonan Port Yacht House consists of a continuous curved surface with no horizontal sections, requiring careful consideration of rain drainage at all points and measures against water infiltration due to unexpected snowfall. Typically, the composition of a roof covering a large space is determined by the combination of roofing materials and construction methods.
